An informal discussion on the follow-up of bdbo activities took place at Biggan Chetona Porishad office, 78 Aziz Market (2nd floor), Shahbag, Dhaka on 1 May 2015 during 4:00 – 6:30 pm. Following persons were present:

No new decision has been taken here, only some clarification on previously taken decisions as well as work progress has been discussed.
Topics of discussion:
1) Office space:
Search for new permanent office space of bdbo is still on. We hope to get one within this month.
2) Sponsorship for IBO Observer:
We are still lacking about 2 lakhs taka to be arranged before 27 May 2015. Otherwise we can’t send observer to IBO and all our goals including sending participants to IBO will be delayed. If anyone can help about arranging the money, even partially, it will be a lifesaver for bdbo. Still we are trying our best.
3) BioCamp:
Camp design and syllabus have been drafted. Hopefully it will be finalized and published soon. Then we will start inviting the winners (except class XII) for the camp.
4) Title sponsorship:
We have preliminary confirmation with a renowned private bank to become the title sponsor of bdbo. We hope it work out well.
5) BioTalk:
Next BioTalk is to be held on 13 May 2015 at Bangladesh Bank School. Director General of Bangladesh Rice Research Institute has kindly agreed to be the keynote speaker.
