Agenda and Decisions: There were 6 agenda in total on which decisions were taken.
1) Declaration of new central committee (2015-2017) and facilitator panel.
    >> A central committee of 35 members has been declared. The list of ‘active members’ is still incomplete.
    >> Complete list of Central committee will be acknowledged in a separate e-mail. It’ll be available in our website soon.
    >> ​The facilitator panel and Enzyme list update will soon be available at bdbo.org
2) Amendment of bdbo Constitution
    >> A 5-membered sub-committee has been formed…
    Convener (1): Prof. Dr. Shahidur Rashid Bhuiya, ProVC, SAU
    General Members (3): Prof. Dr. R. H. Sarker, Dept. of Botany, DU; Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar, Head of the Dept. of Psychiatry, MMCH; Dr. Monirul Islam, Assistant Professor, NITOR
    Member Secretary: Dr. Saumitra Chakravarty, Resident, Dept. of Pathology, BSMMU
    >> This committee will submit the final draft of the constitution within shortest possible time. Then it will be distributed electronically to all the members of the central committee, enzymes, facilitators and advisors. After their inputs, it will be finalized to be published as a book / booklet.
3) Follow-up on sending observer to IBO2015 (Aarhus, Denmark, 1219 July 2015).
    >> Chairman of bdbo central committee 2015-2017, Pro VC of Sher-E-Bangla Agricultural University will himself take the role of the observer. But the Registration fee is yet to manage.
4) BioCamp
    >> Camp will be residential and probably BARI (Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute) will provide the required accommodation, food, lab and field.
   >> It will be a 2.5 days’ camp.
   >> Possible date is the last week of June 2015.
   >> Only the winners from Junior and Secondary categories will be invited because winners of Higher Secondary category will not be eligible to participate in IBO2016 (Vietnam).
   >> The number of participants will be about 40 and resident trainers and facilitators will be about 10, a grand total of 50 people will be there in the camp.
   >> BioCamp sub-committee is formed and led by Mr. Rabbani, Lecturer, SAU.
   >> Administrative support is being provided by Auniruddho Pramanik.
   >> Course curriculum is being prepared by Dr. Saumitra Chakravarty.
5) Taking an Office for bdbo and Financial Matters
    >> Auniruddho Pramanik had found an office space at Kolabagan and several members of the committee has visited the place with appreciation.
    >> The total rent including all utility bills is BDT 13000 which will be splitted in half between Auniruddha’s entrepreneurial venture and bdbo. So the net payable for bdbo is 6500 per month.
    >> All bdbo members (cental committee, enzymes, facilitators etc.) who are service holders, are requested to contrubute at least BDT 500 per month to cover the expenses. The more contribution, the merrier!
    NB: On 18 April 2015, Auniruddha found the aforementioned office space to be unexpectedly rented to another party. So the search for office will have to start over.
6) Miscellaneous
    >> Campbell Biology is to be translated in Bangla as soon as possible by the academic team of bdbo. Those who are interested are welcome to join. Just contact Rafikul (01722901814).
    >> bdbo will contact its publisher to acquire translation rights from the original publisher.
    >> Anik Samiur Rahman will operate the correspondence with the help of Samiul Alam Rajib, Lecturer, Northern University.
    >> The book is to be published in Bangla not all at once but part-by-part, chapterwise.
    >> Auniruddha Pramanik has assumed the responsibility as the publisher.
    >> Tarik Rahman will help to get domain-specific email ID for Auniruddha’s publication as well as bdbo.
